Our Story

AWH College of Science & Technology

AWH College of Science & Technology is one among the important projects under the group of AWH Calicut. The College was established in 2005 and is located in the Anakkara panchayath of Palakkad district, near Anakkara Govt. Higher Secondary School.

The college is located in an ideal place merged with nature. The calm and quiet atmosphere itself may inspire the ambitious students to read, write, think and discuss. The College offers four year degree courses as per the norms of University of Calicut.

As part of the AWH Group, the institution is deeply committed to empowering the differently-abled and disadvantaged sections of society, providing equal access to quality education and opportunities for all.

Our Vision

The AWH has a vision that the differently abled and the other disadvantaged population of the society are also equal members of the fraternal society and have equal right to lead dignified lives through equal access to education, health care, housing and gainful economic activities.

Our Mission

To facilitate rehabilitation of people with all kinds of disabilities, advocate and promote equality in all spheres of life through education, communication, training and gainful employment. The AWH shall also work for the welfare, development and empowerment of women, children and other needy sections of the Society.

Foundation Year

AWH College of Science & Technology established in Anakkara, Palakkad, as a key project of the AWH Group of Calicut.

2007

University Affiliation

Formally affiliated to the University of Calicut for all undergraduate degree programmes.

2010

Infrastructure Expansion

New academic blocks, modern laboratories and an expanded library were added to the campus.

2015

New Programmes Launched

BCA programmes added to the academic offerings, broadening opportunities for students.

2020

Digital Transformation

Introduced digital smart classrooms, e-library access and campus-wide high-speed internet.
